Mitsuro hikime pieces will develop a patina over time - a deepening of the surface I consider part of the piece's life, not a flaw. Pieces with a brushed or satin finish will gradually smooth with wear. Both are natural. If you ever want the original finish restored, any reputable jeweler can help.

To care for your piece Remove before swimming, bathing, or entering hot water. Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and household chemicals; apply these before putting your jewelry on. Store separately from other pieces to protect the surface texture.
