Karuizawa Engagement and Wedding Rings, Made to Last

I'm Anne Hara, and I make engagement rings and wedding rings entirely by hand in Karuizawa. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. There are no templates, no production runs, and no ring you've seen on someone else's hand. I craft my pieces over weeks in 18k gold, with natural diamonds and sapphires, for them to be carried for decades.

Bespoke Bridal Commissions from a Karuizawa Studio

Every ring I make is made for one person. I cut and fit settings and engravings by hand under a microscope, in 18k gold with natural sapphires and diamonds.

If you're searching for Karuizawa wedding rings or Karuizawa engagement rings made this way, made by hand from start to finish, this is where to look.

Every commission starts as a conversation. I choose a stone to suit what's being made and who it's for, not for size or spectacle. From there, the ring takes shape at my bench: gold filed, stones set entirely by hand under magnification, engravings hand-carved.

The work is slow by design. A ring made this way takes weeks because it's shaped around one specific person.

For Karuizawa Weddings and Proposals

For couples marrying or proposing in Karuizawa at a chapel, a mountain overlook, or a quiet ryokan, a ring made in the same town carries the place with it. I can take on a commission ahead of a proposal or wedding date, given enough lead time to make the piece by hand.

Local pickup can be arranged if you're proposing or marrying in Karuizawa. Pieces are also shipped, fully finished, worldwide.

Begin an Inquiry

Every piece is one-of-a-kind. View current pieces or inquire about a bespoke commission at studio[@]annehara.com. Commissions typically begin with a short conversation about the stone, the form, and the timeline. Most custom bridal pieces take 4 to 5 months from the first sketch to the finished ring.
