Hand-formed in mitsuro wax · 18k gold · made in Karuizawa, Japan
A heart that folds back through itself. Molds are made in two halves, and a form that loops like this locks inside them, so it can't be made from a pattern the way most gold hearts are. This pendant is sculpted once, in wax.
The surface is mitsuro hikime: wax warmed in the hand until it gives, then pulled until it ribbons.

Each piece is made to order by hand in my Karuizawa studio. Unless noted otherwise in the piece description, please allow 4 to 6 weeks from order to shipment. Pieces featuring pavé or custom stone setting may require up to 8 weeks.
